Overview
The goal of this project was to design a useful device that could help improve an individuals' daily life by automating tasks that they would have to do manually themselves.
The specific task that we decided to automate is the watering of plants. Often times it can be difficult to remember which plants need how much water and how often to water them, however, this is all solved with the "Plant CareTaker"! This device will automatically detect when a plant needs to be watered and when it detects this it will pull on a spray bottle to water the plant until the moisture level in the soil has been satisfied.
